Robert Cole is co-owner of The Collaborative Companies and co-founder of
Velocity Marketing. With over thirty years of experience in residential
real estate, Cole began his career as an architect for Design Dexter in
Manhattan and then joined Gilbert Charles Beylen, a leading residential
marketing company for new construction in Manhattan. He joined The
Collaborative Companies (TCC) in Boston as vice president in 1987 and
became a partner in the company in 1994. In the early 1990s during TCC’s
joint venture with Kennedy Wilson, one of the largest real estate
auction marketing firms in the world, Mr. Cole was the Director of East
Coast Sales for Kennedy Wilson and head of the New York office. He has
been involved in the sale of $2.5 billion worth of residential
properties.
Today, Mr. Cole and Ms. Hawkes lead TCC’s and Velocity’s efforts in
providing a wide range of marketing services to developers, financial
institutions and real estate professionals in the design and
implementation of both conventional and accelerated marketing programs,
as well as investor sales.
Mr. Cole received a Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University; interned
at The Institute for Architecture and Urban Studies in Manhattan; earned
a Bachelor of Architecture from CUNY; and received a Masters of Business
Administration in Finance from Fordham University.

HAWKES
Chief Executive Officer
Sue Hawkes served as the senior vice president for the Codman Company in
Boston for 13 years before joining The Collaborative Companies as
partner and managing director in 1997. Sue, along with partner Bob Cole,
purchased TCC and Velocity Marketing, their auction division, in 2006.
Ms. Hawkes is a recognized leader in the new construction industry,
consults throughout the country, and is a regularly featured speaker at
the National Association of Home Builders annual convention. Active in
the building industry, she served on the National Association of Home
Builders Executive Committee (NAHB), as Chairman of the New England
Builders Conference, and as Trustee of both the Institute of Residential
Marketing and the National Sales and Marketing Council, the latter of
which she has chaired. Ms. Hawkes is certified to teach all four levels
of the NAHB Sales and Marketing Designation (MIRM). Ms. Hawkes served as
President of the Builders Association of Greater Boston in 1999 Ms.
Hawkes has been involved in culminating over $2 billion in residential
sales transactions throughout her career.
In 1995, Ms. Hawkes was awarded the NAHB "Bill Molster Award" for
industry excellence, the highest honor awarded by the NAHB. She was
honored by her alma mater, St. Lawrence University, in 1998 as the
recipient of the Alumnae Leadership Award.
